How does our Mental First Aid training course help?
We all know that our mental health is vitally important to our wellbeing. It can be daunting to be responsible for ensuring that mental health support is provided quickly to those who need it at work. Often, we are not sure what we are meant to be looking for in terms of identifying those that may need support.
This is where Mental Health First Aid training can help. Our course can equip you with the information that you need, and train you to spot the signs of mental illness in others. This can give you the confidence you need to step in if an employee shows signs of crisis and the reassurance that you are delivering the right support.
What happens during our Mental Health First Aid training?
Our virtual Mental Health First Aid training course is delivered in four half-day sessions over the course of two weeks. Courses include two live sessions and two sessions that are self-directed.
During our course you will take an in-depth look at various mental health conditions, discussing the misconceptions that can develop around them. You will learn about the factors that affect our mental health, and the different resources available to support those who are suffering.
You will leave the course equipped to spot the triggers and symptoms of poor mental health and confident in how to get your team the help they need.
